From being greeted at Paro airport with katas, and then being whisked away in comfort to amazing accommodation in Thimphu city, and then taken to some of the most stunning and sacred Vajrayana Buddhist sites dotted all across central Bhutan… All with approachable, super relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable guides who could pretty much answer anything we wanted to know about i.e. local customs, wildlife, Buddhist sites and the history and culture of Bhutan and Vajrayana Buddhism… And who were humorous, yet sensitive to our individual needs… We were given a tour of Bhutan that will be hard to forget.
The head guide (Dolma) made sure everything was in place so we didn’t have to worry about anything… And her knowledge of Bhutan in general, along with her connections, made the experience all the more powerful and sacred… We were even welcomed into a local family’s home to have lunch with them, eating traditional Bhutanese food and glimpsing a rare insight into local habits and ways of life. The two guides who worked with Dolma were amazing too. Let’s just say… These guys know how to do a Buddhist pilgrimage.
Very much hope to come back to Bhutan one day and use these guys to explore further-afield. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Bhutan either as an experienced Buddhist, or for the first time as tourist or wildlife enthusiast… If you’re interested in Bhutanese culture and want to see some of the more famous and well known sites, or the lesser known off-the-beaten-track temples, then this is the travel company for you…

I was equally captivated by the beautifully decorated architecture, with its richly painted windows, amazing woodwork, and symbolic designs that transform villages, monasteries, and towns into living works of art.
Every day of my journey brought new discoveries and meaningful experiences that went far beyond sightseeing -from magnificent monasteries perched on mountain cliffs to encounters with local communities, each experience offered a deeper understanding of Bhutan’s unique values and way of life.
I was also inspired by the deep respect and affection the Bhutanese people have for their dharma King and the Royal Family, whose humility, vision, and dedication are deeply admired throughout the country.
The Royal Family’s role in preserving Bhutan’s cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, and unique development philosophy is truly remarkable, making Bhutan a truly unique country that is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
Thanks to the professionalism, care, and dedication of the tour team, I enjoyed a seamless journey and gained a genuine appreciation for Bhutan’s unique identity.
